Osman - A novel
Osman is the greatest terrorist threat the UK has faced so far. Wound tight by
his fathers treatment and humiliation at the hands of British soldiers his hate for the British has no boundaries.
Throughout the book he persues and is persued by his greatest Nemesis, John Cullen, whose daughters death at the hands of the British police Osman engineered.

Footsteps pounded noisily down the pavement past the car window, followed closely by
two trail bikes, a policeman on a bicycle and rather less closely by two breathless
officers on foot. This man was probably an illegal immigrant. He had made a run for
it and disappeared into the alleyway on the left of the bar, flinging what looked
like a bag of large marbles or ball bearings on the ground. All the pursuing bikes
were now down in the mouth of the alley, a heaving tangle of metal and
fluorescent-jacketed limbs.
The bikes were in fact stopping the police from chasing on foot. The man was bound
to get away. Osman wished him good luck, laughed, and shook his head as he started
his car. It was just like a scene from an old slapstick movie, Chaplain could have
created no greater chaos! The British police were such incompetents. Yes, the police
would certainly be no match for him and Selim.
With the information that the group hoped was held by Judge Engineering about the
governments new secure database system and the secure networks connecting it Osman
estimated they should be in a position to cause inestimable damage within a year.

Cullen reached down and took a long drink from his water glass before
continuing. Sarah was all the family he had left, and the thought of losing her
left him with a cold knot in his stomach. Still he was a professional police
officer, and he had to try and put aside the emotions. Sir Thomas had asked him if
he would feel better if somebody else took the case but he had refused. He was
beginning to wonder if that had been a wise choice.
'So what do we think?' Cullen looked hopefully around the room.
A slight nondescript but well dressed woman who Cullen recognised as Mary somebody
or other from MI5 raised her hand. He nodded at her.
'The demands... The demands are very odd. For a terrorist organisation the sum of
fifty thousand pounds...peanuts! Also this group – they call themselves Freedom for
Islam – so where are the demands to actually free Islamic prisoners? I will check
again but to be frank I doubt if we have ever heard of them. Certainly we have never
issued them a recognition code or else they would have used it to confirm they
are for real.'
'So what you are saying Mary, is that they don't exist?'

Nick and Sam walked across the bridge over the canal to the spot they had chosen.
It was next to the big pet superstore on the main road called Pets R Us or something.
The bulk of the store provided plenty of cover and there was only one camera easily
blocked out with a hood and baseball cap.
The web site had given some simple instructions, fill in the numbered boxes on the
line drawing like this, fold the paper so, and again so. Suddenly the paper turned
into a map showing the positions of three manholes in Brentford. Manholes that contained
the government cables that fed the police with information from the hated CCTV cameras
that were on every street now.
This was real, this was what they had been waiting for, an almost risk free chance to
strike back at the Man. The Anarchy creed was that it wasn’t their fault that they had
been jobless since leaving school. There was no work now that meant anything. That was
societies fault and the Man ran the surveillance society. It was time to take him down.
